Outnet.com- it’s chic-o-nomics. No it’s a waste of time

8.15am I read an email  on my blackberry. “The outnet’s 1st birthday sale has started.” the email was sent at 7.30. Shit why didn’t my phone beep at me.

8.16am click on the outnet’s website. Proxy error blah blah blah. Of course the site can’t take the crazy amount of p.r that the company has given the world about this stupid birthday party over the last month!

9.10 am my finger is starting to hurt from the continuous pressing of the refresh button.

9.15 am finally I get onto the darn website. I go straight to what I want to purchase- a lovely silk, Nanette Lapore dress. BASKET, BASKET, BASKET! ok, CHECK OUT! Wait, why does it say that this item I’m purchasing is the price it was before. It doesn’t actually say that any of the items are a pound. This makes me scared to put my card details in. Just in case they charge me the full price for the item. AHHHH what do I do? Oh it doesn’t matter it’s crashed anyway.

GO AWAY OUTNET! FFS!

Clogs vs Winged trainers.

Oh Chanel. Why? WHY CHANEL?  I can’t get over these. I know they have been about for a while, but they have been all over the personal style blogs lately and I just can’t stand them. I have never seen a shoe so unflattering. They are chunky, bulky. They aren’t beautiful they aren’t feminine. Why would you design such things. Also, what kind of items of clothing would they go with? As you can probably tell I’m not the biggest fan.

Winged trainers however, I think they’re brilliant! trainers for me have always been, well.. just trainers. These adidas numbers were first brought out in summer last year I believe, but they have just been featured in the new adidas television advertisements and are doing really well.

Now readers you may think the clogs are the best things since sliced bread and the winged trainers are just bloody stupid, so let me know what you think!

Designer goodies. For a pound? oh go on then!

I’m already sorry for this post dear readers. I apologise for this post because it’s based at a pretty small amount of people. Well not really. It’s based at women in the UK. I think there is quite alot of those!

http://www.theoutnet.com is a website owned by Net-a-porter. Net-a-porter is of course the online store thats sells lovely designer products. Well The outnet is reaching it’s 1st birthday and to celebrate being the grand old age of 1, the website is selling all their designer goods off for you guessed it a whole pound!

What you have to do is register on the website. The website will send you an email and then you can R.S.V.P for the sale. You must R.S.V.P by April 11th and the day of the sale is April 16th.
